Are you spending Thanksgiving in hotels in Billings Montana? If so, there’s plenty to get your mind into the spirit of the holidays. Read below for information on a gift festival, turkey run and tree festival!Holiday Food & Gift FestivalThis is the perfect kick-off to start the holiday season! You can find something for everyone on your shopping list at this festival. Some of the items that will be sold include jams, gift baskets, spices, pasta, cookware, fitness products, and made-in-Montana products. Arts and crafts vendors will showcase their work in metal, wood, pottery, photography, jewelry and much more. Over 250 booths will offer many choices! You can also enjoy caroling and dancing with performances by local groups along with cooking demonstrations. Food and drink vendors will be available with everything from Asian cuisine to sweets. The kids can get their picture taken with Santa as well.Run! Turkey Run! The second annual 'Run! Turkey Run!' event will take place on Thanksgiving morning on November 22. Last year over 1,700 participated in both the 5K and Street Mile races. The goal is to have 2,500 people sign up this year! The 5K starts at 9 am and the Street Mile follows at 10 am so that you still have time to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family!  All the local breweries will provide their signature craft brews for purchase. Along the one mile course, a radio DJ will be dressed as a turkey! Pint glasses and t-shirts will be given to all participants. All proceeds will go towards the Billings Food Bank. The Festival of Trees is the Family Tree’s fund-raiser to celebrate the holidays! The festival provides an opportunity for members of the community to help prevent child abuse and neglect in Yellowstone County. You can support the cause by donating or buying a tree, sponsoring the event or participating in a weekend activity.  During the weekend, activities are available such as a Craft and Gift Show, Family Fun Night, Brunch with Santa and much more.
