The 2022 SummerFair is celebrating its 44th annual event. The SummerFair raises money for the Yellowstone Art Museum. The SummerFair enriches the community and provides interactive experiences and community collaboration opportunities.
The event is held on June 24th, 25th, and 26th and is located at Montana State University. The university location provides lots of parking and vendor space. The fabulous SummerFair attracts over 10,000 attendees.

SummerFair History
The first SummerFair was held in 1979 and was the region's first outdoor arts and crafts festival. Today, the tradition continues, and the SummerFair is known to be the region's finest arts and crafts event. The event has been held at different locations throughout its history and is now thrilled to be hosted by Montana State University.
SummerFair Attractions

About the Yellowstone Art Museum
The Yellowstone Art Museum was founded in 1964 and is located in the former county jail. The Yellowstone Art Museum is the area's only visual arts museum. In addition to art exhibits, the museum hosts educational events, provides art education, and hosts community events.
The permanent collection includes over 7,000 important artworks. The collection includes regionally and internationally celebrated artists. The museum features an impressive collection of cowboy writer and illustrator Will James. The museum includes a unique Visible Vault, a storage area of additional art that is open and available to the public.
The SummerFair is one of the museum's favorite fundraising events. Other fundraising events include The Night at the Yellowstone Art Museum, the Masquerade at the YAM, and the YAM Golf Tournament. Funds raised at the SummerFair benefit the museum's educational programs and operating costs.
