Rides, Food, & More at the Montana Fair

It’s that time of the year again! The Montana Fair in Billings, Montana returns August 10 through August 18. The event is full of all the classic fair activities we’ve come to know and love – rides, games, food, a carnival, and more! This year brings a variety of concerts as well that are sure to please any crowd. The fair is the perfect event to attend if you are staying in hotels in Billings MT in the month of August.The fair will also feature a three-day PRCA rodeo event in the MetraPark Grandstands under the starry night sky. The rodeo brings some of the best athletes to compete and impress you with their skills. There will also be an exhibit featuring numerous arts, crafts, animals, and more. The carnival will feature some great rides including a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, slides, fun zone, merry go round, Tilt-a-Whirl, and more! New rides this year are the Frog Hopper, Monster Trucks, Speed, and Surfs Up. And if you think you have what it takes, you can enter the Montana State BBQ Championship!The musical performances throughout the week are Sublime with Rome, Gavin Degraw & Colbie Caillat, and Billy Currington. Also performing will be magician Dan Sperry, a cappella group Home Free, comedians Alfred & Seymour, and musical group Savannah Jack. There’s entertainment for everyone at the Montana Fair!Bring your appetite because there will be numerous delicious food trucks. There’s even a “Lunch Bunch” you can join where you can dine at the fair for a special fee without paying gate admission.
