The Dude Rancher Lodge has recently been added to the National Register of Historic Places.  The National Register is America’s official list of historic properties that provide a valuable link to our country’s past and have been deemed worthy of preservation.  Completed in 1950, the Dude Rancher Lodge was and still is the most stylish hotel in Billings.  Our rustic ranch features weeping brick mortar and full-length porches.  The interior is designed with knotty pine paneling, decorative lampshades, custom-built western-style furniture, and our carpeting is adorned with the brands of the local ranchers who initially invested in the property.

The Dude Rancher Lodge

Upon its completion, the Dude Rancher Lodge quickly became a favorite place to stay for people from all over Montana and throughout the rest of the country.  By providing a beautiful glimpse into our region’s Old West roots, our historic hotel resonates with a western spirit that can be felt around every corner.
