Billings is a city that offers much to do and see. It is a unique city filled with history and natural beauty. Downtown Billings is unofficially known as the “brewery district”, probably because of the 6 breweries that are located less than 2 miles from one another. If you are looking for something fun to do, consider going on the walking tour of the brewery district and stop 6 breweries and 2 distilleries along the way. From start to finish, the walking tour is only 1.5 miles.

When staying in Billings MT, start at Yellowstone Valley Brewing Co. located at 2123 1st Ave N. #B. This location is a brewery and a distillery and even offers open mic nights and live music. Try some beers or get a vodka and gin at their distillery tasting room. Next, wander over to Uberbrew at 2305 Montana Ave. With a full menu, stop here for some appetizers to fuel you up before the rest of your tour. Billings Depot, Inc. located at 2310 Montana Ave is your third stop. This distillery is located at a historic landmark so be sure to check out the awesome building before heading to the outdoor garden to enjoy some house-made gin and vodka. Trailhead Spirits at 2314 Montana Ave offers hand-crafted gin, vodka, as well as whiskey. At 2526 Montana Ave you’ll find Carter’s Brewing. Pick and choose from several of their handcrafted beers and pick from porters to pale ales and more.Turn the corner to get to 20 N 30th St, home of Angry Hank’s, choose from the 8 ales on tap that include Belgian-style wheat, blondes, imperial reds, IPAs, and more. Be sure to ask about their seasonal beers. Thirsty Street Brewing Co. is your next stop at 3008 1st Ave N. Here, you can enjoy 6 crisp and refreshing beers on tap. On top of this, enjoy some fresh hot dogs and sausages while you enjoy a game of pool, darts, or shuffleboard in the game room! Last but not least, stop at the Montana Brewing Co. at 113 N 28th St. If you’re hungry, enjoy the full menu including dessert!
