With July right around the corner, it’s time to confirm your plans for the 4th of July. This summer holiday is a fun and exciting time for the whole family and the 4th of July in billings mt is sure to be an event you won’t soon forget. Make sure you stay in Billing MT hotels, so you don’t miss out on the fun! Read on to see what fireworks you can see this 4th of July near Billings. In the nearby town of Laurel, you’ll find a fantastic 4th of July celebration. Laurel has the most massive fireworks display for the 4th of July in Montana. If you are looking for a small town celebration, look no further than this annual tradition. The town of Laurel kicks off their 4th of July celebration at 6 am with a pancake breakfast located at Fireman’s Park. Children 7-12 get in for $4, and those 13+ get in for $6. For kids 6 and under the breakfast is FREE. Once you’ve filled up on your pancakes, you can join in on the Chief Joseph Run that starts at 7 am. If running isn’t for you, you can cheer the runners on the sidelines as well. After the race, head over to the Western Security Bank as the Kiddies Parade begins around 10 am. After the Kiddies Parade, the Grand Parade will start at 11 am. Some of the prizes for the floats include Best Theme, Best Vehicle, Best Club, and Best Patriotic among others. Enjoy the afternoon by walking around Main Street and exploring the various boutiques and eateries. The Food and Craft Fair will also be open from 9 am to 9 pm so feel free to take your time exploring through the fair and see all the goods and merchandise that Laurel has to offer. With all the activities that Laurel has to contribute you might want to head to bed early, but be sure to stay for the fantastic firework celebration, which will begin at dusk.
