HopeFest, September 8

The first annual Hopefest is coming up! From 10 am to 4 pm, you can bring the whole family and learn about the Montana Rescue Mission. There will be live music, food, auctions, and family-friendly fun. You can also take a tour of the women's family shelter and men's shelter. The Bed Race will kick off the event in the morning. All beds must have no more than four wheels and be designed with a twin size mattress from Mattress Land U.S.A. Every team of 5 has a chance to win one of five prizes, including a trip to Las Vegas, Big Sky, a Broncos or Mariners game, or gift certificates!

Oktoberfest, September 22

Join in the fun at the Yellowstone American Museum at the 3rd Annual Oktoberfest! The night starts at 5 pm and goes until 10 pm. You have the opportunity to sample a large variety of seasonal microbrews from Montana's best brewers. Plenty of Bavarian food and live music will also be available for a great night. In celebration of creative craft beer, the museum will debut its very own Yam Ale, brewed with sweet potatoes at this year's Oktoberfest! Attendees 21 and older can enjoy free sampling at the entrance gates. Tickets to Oktoberfest are $30 for unlimited beer or $10 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the museum front desk or Montana Cycling & Ski, located at Shiloh Crossing. All proceeds benefit the museum's operating costs.
