Then on the following day, Saturday, August 30, there will be a car show between 10 am and 3 pm plus a swap meet and car corral. Also new for this year is the Montana Classic Collector Car Auction, where you can view and buy some of the most fantastic cars. Entry to the events costs two dollars, but you could save yourself a dollar by bringing along an empty Pepsi can. If you want to attend the auction, however, there is a five-dollar entry fee for anyone over the age of twelve. If you fancy giving yourself a project, then why not decorate a parade float? For ten dollars, your float could be seen by the thousands of people who come to watch the parade. Or perhaps you are a car enthusiast and have your classic car you would like to show off. You can enter it into the car show for fifteen dollars, where it will be viewed all day long by other car lovers. If it’s the Montana Classic Collector Car Auction that brings you here, you should know that if you intend to sell your car, you need to register on the Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. If you are coming to bid, then you can check in starting two hours before the auction begins. If you are coming from afar and intend to stay for the whole weekend, there is no shortage of beautiful and affordable Billings Montana hotels to suit any budget.
