30th Great Rockies Sport Show January 9-11th!

If you and your family love the outdoors, then you won’t want to miss the 30th annual Billings Great Rockies Sports Show! Happening from Friday, January 9th through Sunday, January 11th, be sure to come down to Metra Park in Billings for an expo on hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventures such as boating or traveling in RVs. If you are staying in any hotels near Metrapark Arena, and you are into outdoor adventures and living life on the wild side, this is the expo for you!The Great Rockies Sports Show will be open on Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm. On Saturday the show will be open from 10 am – 6 pm. Finally, on Sunday the show will be open from 10 am – 4 pm. Admission price for adults will be $7; juniors ages 6-12 can get in for $3, and children five and under get in FREE! Also, if you’ve decided that one day at the Great Rockies Sports Show isn’t enough, no worries because one admission is suitable for all weekend! That means you can buy a ticket for one day and get the rest of the weekend free!At this event, there will also be many fun activities and shows to enjoy. For example, there will be a Great Cats of the World show where you can view some big cats such as tigers and panthers! A fun activity for the kids includes getting the opportunity to search for fossils and mine for gems with Yankee Joe’s Gemstone & Fossil Mining as well as trying out their luck at the Kids Trout Pond. Here, they can try to catch a big one! All poles tackle, and bait will be provided. For the adults, there will be various demonstrations that can help with your technique, such as a fly-casting demonstration or a fly tying demonstration – both brought to you by Magic City Fly Fishers. There will also be Dutch Oven cooking seminars to help you with ideas on your next trip as well as various hunting and fishing seminars. If you enjoy camping, fishing, or hunting, don’t miss out on this great event!
